Dr. John Billharz, MD

Dr. John (Buzz) Billharz and his family have made their home in Liberty since 2009. He is the proud dad of 4, has a long-term addiction to distance running, and a passionate love of the outdoors. His undergraduate degree was in Theology and Missions, and that foundation continues to influence his practice of medicine and love and appreciation for all people. He obtained his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Utah, and his Pediatric specialty training at Children’s Mercy Hospital in 2012. He spent five years taking care of children and families at his previous Northland practice before stepping out in 2017 to start Redwood Pediatrics.

Parents and children are drawn to Dr. Buzz because he is compassionate, thorough, kind, and attentive. He strives to empower parents to make the best decisions possible regarding the care and upbringing of their children.
