Angela Habermehl
Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
Angela received her Master of Science in Nursing through Maryville University and became a certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. Prior to starting with Redwood, Angela was a certified neonatal intensive care nurse at Saint Luke’s Hospital where she worked on several different projects and teams including the extremely low gestation age team, the vascular access team, and the bereavement team, among others. Additionally, while working as a NICU nurse, she became interested in helping new mothers breastfeed their new babies (if, of course, that was their goal!), so she pursued lactation certification and became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). She is passionate about helping parents become confident and empowered caregivers, as well as teaching pediatric patients to feel comfortable and knowledgeable about their bodies and health. Angela has a “sweet spot” for newborns, but she is excited for the opportunity to witness and help her patients grow up to be happy and healthy individuals!
Angela loves creating adventures with her husband and three children, whether that be through travel, hiking, sports, or just fun at home. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, art, sand volleyball, and anything out in the sunshine! Angela is delighted to be a part of the Redwood team!
